Widely applied in related industries in terms of identification, research and toxic treatment of solid waste such as solid waste treatment and environment. Also in the EPA Manual, Method MEP 1320 is designed to simulate the washout process that waste will undergo through repeated exposure to acidic leachate. MEP spills the sample during the initial TCLP extraction, followed by 9 additional full extractions (24 h for each extraction). MEP extraction liquid is a sulfuric/nitric mixture that is 20 to 100 times more acidic than SPLP.
